Estate Planning:

A workshop on Estate Planning is offered periodically with a wide variety of topics such as: living trusts, living wills, estate administration, inheritance taxes, wills, funeral planning, transfer of farm business to the next generation, long term care, etc.

This series is taught by professionals from the Southeast Region to enhance the knowledge of participants wishing to receive factual information on estate planning topics.

Publications on this subject are available to Schuylkill County residents.

Farm Financial Management:
Assistance is provided through one or more visits with the farmer and/or special meetings and presentations. Farmers may request a FINPACK Computer farm business analysis for potential changes in their farming operation.  This provides as an opportunity to develop realistic goals prior to seeking financial assistance from a lender. Partial budgeting may be done on enterprises to determine which are profitable.
Farm Management:
Assist farmers with questions on income taxes, labor issues, lease arrangements, record keeping systems, etc. through phone consultations, farm visits, presentations, meetings, etc.
